Now that we've roughly reached the midway point of September, a number of our favorite shows are making their welcome returns.  Tonight will see the first new 'Glee' since May, but must we really wait all the way until September 28 for new 'Fringe?'  Alas, it seems that way.  So while we patiently wait for the final season of our favorite cult sci-fi hit, to begin with "Transilience Thought Unifier Model-11," how about a first-look photo?

Must we always start 'Fringe' seasons missing somebody?  TVGuide has the first official photo from 'Fringe' season 5 premiere "Transilience Thought Unifier Model-11," and one thing is perfectly clear from Olivia Dunham!  We see a concerned Walter Bishop flanked by Henrietta "Etta" Bishop (Georgina Haig), though it's clear we won't quite figure out why Olivia wasn't liberated from Amber along with the rest of her team in last season's "Letters of Transit."

"[Their reunion] takes on a slightly different flavor than I think you would anticipate," says series star Joshua Jackson. "It happens quite quickly off the top of the season, and it's as emotional as you would imagine, but not quite the reunion that you're expecting."

But what does that mean?  Even if we find Olivia quickly, could that mean she's been living longer in the future, possibly aging past her family?  Other photos we've seen certainly don't seem to show Anna Torv looking all that old, but then again you'd better believe someone that stunning would age quite well.
