We're exceptionally curious to see how FX's 'Fargo' TV series translates what we loved about the 1996 Coen brothers movie into the small screen, and while the proper premiere won't arrive until April 15, the small-town murder hijinks have already begun. Check out the first seven minutes from premiere installment "The Crocodile's Dilemma" right now, and enjoy a welcome to the world of FX's 'Fargo'!

We don't hear very much from Billy Bob Thornton's mysterious con man character Lorne Malvo, though right off the bat we have a healthy dose of murder and mayhem amid the eerie snow-beaten landscape. Next up we meet 'Sherlock' star Martin Freeman as the henpecked Lester Nygaard, whose repression already gives us the sense that we'll be seeing Lester hammer out a few of his problems before long.

Most recently adding comedy duo Key & Peele, FX’s ‘Fargo’ also features 'Breaking Bad''s Bob Odenkirk, Allison Tolman as Marge Gunderson-esque Deputy Molly Solverson, Colin Hanks as Duluth Police Deputy Gus Grimly, along with ‘Always Sunny‘ star Glenn Howerton as ambitious personal trainer Don Chumph, Kate Walsh as Gina Hess, a former stripper raising twin teenagers, Oliver Platt as supermarket king Stavros Milos, as well as roles for Adam Goldberg, Joey King, Peter Breitmayer, Tom Musgrave, and Josh Close.

Time will tell what people have to say of FX's adaptation, but in the meantime, get an early glimpse of 'Fargo' above (don't mind the "true story" label), and tell us if you'll tune in for the April 15 premiere!
