It may be a while before we see 'Gambit,' the Joel and Ethan Coen-scripted remake of the 1966 caper starring Colin Firth and Cameron Diaz, but we've got a few seconds of footage and two posters to show you that should -- maybe, probably -- hold you over until then.

Slashfilm picked up on a few seconds of footage from 'Gambit' thanks to a promotional reel currently running in UK theaters. There's not much there, other than Colin Firth desperately in need of his trousers next to a half-naked Cameron Diaz, and a startled Alan Rickman.

The two posters feature Rickman with a lion and Firth with the tagline "The con is on." The official synopsis:

“An art curator decides to seek revenge on his abusive boss by conning him into buying a fake Monet, but his plan requires the help of an eccentric and unpredictable Texas rodeo queen.”

'Gambit' is directed by Michael Hoffman from an older script by the Coens and co-stars Stanley Tucci and Cloris Leachman. The film will hit theaters in the UK on November 21, and while a US release date has yet to be confirmed, it's likely we'll see the film sometime in 2013. Until then, enjoy Colin Firth without his pants on:
