In what seems like a sad story bound to end in a million incest jokes, 'Game of Thrones' star Lena Headey has filed for divorce with her husband of five years.  And before anyone even says it, no, she wasn't married to her brother, and it wasn't a relationship with her brother that caused the split (we just had to look up that she had one).  So, what was the cause?

According to People Magazine, it's sad news for 'Game of Thrones' actress Lena Headey as we've learned that the woman behind vile queen regent Cersei Lannister has filed for divorce from her husband of five years, musician Peter Loughran.  Predictably, the reason for the divorce as filed in Los Angeles Superior County Court is listed as "irreconcilable differences."

The couple first wed in May of 2007, thought the couple had apparently been separated since 2011.  Headey is reportedly seeking joint legal and physical custody of their 2-year-old son Wylie Loughran.

And seriously, before anybody says it, actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (portraying 'Game of Thrones' character and Headey's incestuous lover Jaime Lannister) remains happily married to Greenlandic actress and former Miss Greenland, Nukâka Motzfeldt, living in Denmark.  No funny business here, folks.

Headey was recently scheduled to appear on the 'Game of Thrones' panel at Comic-Con 2012, but had to pull out at the last minute due to a scheduling conflict.  The third season of the hit HBO series is currently filming abroad.
