'Game of Thrones' had some understandably heavy material to plow through in this past Sunday night's "The Rains of Castamere," which is still the talk on everyone's lips days later. Yet as the crossbow bolts and blood flew, did you miss the much-discussed cameo from Coldplay drummer Will Champion?

Even those without knowledge of the impending "Red Wedding" were likely filled with encroaching tension as Sunday's episode moved through the marriage ceremony of Edmure Tully and Roslin Frey - perhaps so much so that we all failed to notice Champion!

So where was the real-life Coldplay drummer? Why, playing the drums, of course! The role was announced as far back as November with the implication that a band would play an important role in the new season, though clearly we focused too much on the events of the wedding itself to notice Champion banging away with the other musicians.

Similarly downplayed was the role of Snow Patrol singer Gary Lightbody, who guested in "Walk of Punishment" and led the Bolton soldiers in a rendition of "The Bear and the Maiden Fair." You can check out Will Champion's appearance at the 00:23 mark in the video above, and tell us what you thought of 'Game of Thrones' infamous Red Wedding in the comments!
