‘Game of Thrones’ Season 3 Finale Preview Photos: “Mhysa” of Dragons
At long last, this coming Sunday will see HBO's 'Game of Thrones' season 3 come to an ultimate end, picking up after the bloody carnage of last week's Red Wedding nail-biter "The Rains of Castamere." We've many questions where the final hour of the season will take our beloved characters, but what do the first photos from 'Game of Thrones' season 3 finale "Mhysa" reveal?
Unlike 'Game of Thrones' second season finale "Valar Morghulis," we're not certain where Sunday's season 3 closer "Mhysa" will see our favorite characters, given HBO's decision to split series creator George R.R. Martin's third book "A Storm of Swords" across two seasons. Certainly there were those left out of last week's bloodbath in need of some closure, but it remains difficult to see what stories will be saved for next year, or perhaps altered altogether.
HBO released the first round of pictures from Sunday's season finale, and as per usual, only select details can be gleamed. It would appear that Jaime Lannister at last returns to Kings' Landing, while Daenerys faces a difficult new challenge in her liberation of Yunkai, and Stannis Baratheon faces a tough decision as well. No sign of Jon Snow or any of the remaining Starks, but all will likely receive a check-in before the hour ends.
