‘Game of Thrones’ Releases Season 4 Gag Reel and Deleted Scenes

Game of Thrones Season 5 remains tragically more than a month away, but the official Season 4 release on Blu-Ray and DVD helps balm such a gaping wound. While we wait for April 12, see a side of Game of Thrones you’ve never seen with the official season 4 bloopers and deleted scenes!

While you can (and should) pick up Game of Thrones Season 4 for yourself on various platforms, a bevy of special features content has already made its way online, including a blooper reel and multiple deleted scenes from the season. Be warned that both prove notably dour, as we see more of Shae’s tearful exit from Tyrion’s life, and a lonely Daenerys worried that Missandei might betray her, like Jorah.

Oh, and need we mention of the gag reel … Ser Pounce?

Elsewhere of Game of Thrones Season 5 (already renewed for 6, with the cast signed through 7), we know of multiple returning, confirmed absent, and new characters cast, including those that confirm we’ll be visiting the oft-mentioned kingdom of Dorne, for which Spain doubles. The story will draw heavily from George R.R. Martin’s fourth and fifth novels, A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons, while HBO has also provided a list of directors, as well as insight into which literary stories may not make the transition to film.
