Let’s Speculate Wildly About Jason Momoa’s ‘Game of Thrones’ Return
No one cheers on Game of Thrones like Jason Momoa, but the erstwhile Khal Drogo has now gone to some telling lengths to support his former co-stars. New photos place Momoa with his Game of Thrones family in Ireland, so might Drogo be back from the Night Lands once more?
Take this with a grain of salt for the moment, as Momoa’s own Game of Thrones enthusiasm is enough to bring him back to set, let alone to cover the risk of exposing such a notable cameo. Still, Momoa shared photos of himself back in the Ireland center of production (via WinterisComing), even hanging out with showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss, and captioned by “ALOHA DROGO”:
Cheeeeehhoooooooooo. @Guinness in Ireland. Drinking mothers milk With my brothers @captainriff dan and david. Love ya GOT greatest show on earth ALOHA DROGO A photo posted by Jason Momoa (@prideofgypsies) on
Of course, Momoa’s Khal Drogo perished in Season 1, though the actor did make a brief return to Season 2, reprising the role of Drogo for one of Daenerys’ visions of past, present and future. One of said visions also notably took her to a snowed out Kings’ Landing, a sight distinctly possible by the arriving winter, so is another Drogo vision in the cards?
