For years Bill Murray was the one holdout against Ghostbusters 3, and without his participation and approval, making a new Ghostbusters sequel was never going to happen. We’ve wondered if the legendary (and legendarily picky) actor would make an appearance in Paul Feig’s new Ghostbusters after all that commotion, and now it seems he just might.

Per Coming Soon, Murray was spotted in Boston on his way to the new Ghostbusters set, where he is likely filming a cameo appearance. A few weeks ago we learned of Dan Aykroyd’s cameo in Ghostbusters, which was later confirmed by Aykroyd himself. That cameo appearance reportedly involves Aykroyd playing a cab driver and having a really silly exchange with Kristen Wiig’s character.

Although the new Ghostbusters isn’t a remake, it’s unlikely that we’ll see Murray reprising the role of Peter Venkman. It’s unclear if we’ll see Ernie Hudson pop up in the film as well.

Ghostbusters stars Kristen Wiig as Erin Gilbert, Kate McKinnon as Jillian Holtzmann, Melissa McCarthy as Abby Yates and Leslie Jones as Patty Tolan. The film follows Erin, a college professor who is disgraced when a book she previously co-wrote with Abby on paranormal activity resurfaces. When some real paranormal activity begins occurring in their city, the ladies come together to use their knowledge to stop it.

The film also stars Chris Hemsworth, Andy Garcia, Michael K. Williams, Cecily Strong, Neil Casey and Matt Walsh, and hits theaters on July 16, 2016.
