Who ya gonna call? Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and (sadly not pictured in the set photos below) Leslie Jones. The ladies are the stars of Paul Feig’s upcoming Ghostbusters film, and the first photos have leaked from the set, showing off Wiig, McCarthy and a messy McKinnon in costume as their wacky onscreen characters.

Below, you can see pics of the trio in costume — Wiig looks like a mousy administrative type, while McCarthy looks a bit more laid back (those Converse sneakers and glasses tell us she’s a cool nerd, I guess), and McKinnon looks positively bonkers.

In addition, some plot details have emerged from the set of the film, which seem to corroborate each actor’s looks:

Wiig and McCarthy play a pair of unheralded authors who write a book positing that ghosts are real. Flash forward a few years and Wiig lands a prestigious teaching position at Columbia U. Which is pretty sweet, until her book resurfaces and she is laughed out of academia.

Wiig reunites with McCarthy and the other two proton pack-packing phantom wranglers, and she gets some sweet revenge when ghosts invade Manhattan and she and her team have to save the world.

Those details are also in keeping with what we’ve been hearing for some time now about Katie Dippold’s script. Dippold previously wrote The Heat for director Paul Feig, and in addition to the excellent casting (including the also-not-pictured Chris Hemsworth), the new film is off to a promising start.

Ghostbusters hits theaters on July 22, 2016.
