If you make a film that does does over half a billion worldwide and then host the Oscars, it looks like you can get whomever you want in your next project. This explains why Seth MacFarlane's comic western 'A Million Ways to Die in the West' is looking to add Liam Neeson and Giovanni Ribisi.

According to Deadline Hollywood, Ribisi is signed on to play MacFarlane's character's best friend who's trying to help MacFarlane back into the dating scene, even though his own girlfriend is a prostitute who won't have sex with him. It's a bit of a reunion as the two first worked together on Ted,' and though they likely have a good working relationship originally the part was offered to Jonah Hill.

While The Hollywood Reporter says that Liam Neeson is in talks to join the project as an outlaw who's married to Charlize Theron's character. MacFarlane's character is a wuss, who Theron helps find his inner courage, so that likely makes Neeson the bad guy of the movie, and means that Neeson and MacFarlane will have a showdown. Also in the cast is Amanda Seyfried, so there's a lot of talent already attached. The film is scheduled to start shooting this May.
