First Look: ‘Glee’ Set to ‘Dance with Somebody’ in Whitney Houston Tribute
You knew it was coming and based on these pics, it looks like Will Schuester and the McKinley high kids are going all out for the upcoming ‘Glee‘ Whitney Houston tribute.
When news of Houston’s untimely death initially broke back in February, the FOX musical hit paid a brief tribute to the late superstar by tacking on the message “Whitney, We Will Always Love You,” at the end of an episode that happened to feature Amber Riley belting out Houston’s “I Will Always Love You.”
Of course, “Glee” fans know that just wouldn’t do, considering Houston’s massive influence on modern pop music. Thus a proper tribute episode was put together, titled “Dance with Somebody,” which will air next Friday, April 27th at 8PM ET/PT.
Based on the pics below, fans can look forward to watching Santana and Brittany in form-fitting metallic numbers get down to Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” with a little help from the Cheerios. The episode will feature eight of Houston’s greatest hits, with “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” and “It’s Not Right, But It’s OK” rumored to be on the list.
Which Whitney hits are you hoping to hear next Friday night? Sound off in the comments after checking out pics from episode below!
