'Godzilla' hasn't been on the big screen for some time now, and although everyone's a bit preoccupied with superhero movies and 'Star Wars: Episode 7' updates, we're still aching to see this latest reboot of the franchise. While we're waiting for this whole drama with the producers to get sorted out, how about some reports on the plot for 2014's 'Godzilla'?

There's been some drama on the rumor train, as well as within the production itself -- first we got a look at one of the pre-trailer 'Godzilla' stills, which turned out to be unofficially leaked. Then there was that report that Joseph Gordon-Levitt was up for the lead, though he quickly turned down that gig as well as the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' lead in favor of 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.' Now the latest intel, coming from a source over at Chud, is in regards to the 'Godzilla' plot, and if the info is to be believed, it looks like Godzilla won't be the only monster we see tearing up civilization.

According to the report, which claims to be "100% confirmed," Warner Bros. held a webinar for advertisers, in which certain tid bits about 'Godzilla' were revealed.

The film will feature more than one monster, confirming that two new monsters will also be wreaking havoc – this in addition to the big guy.

Warner Bros. made it clear that their interpretation of the material “follows the story of a solider” and is “way different” than the Toho Godzilla films.

Before you get your hopes up, however, the source also reports that this information pertains to the script before the studio brought on Frank Darabont to complete a final rewrite.

While any information is good information, 'Godzilla' is running into some snags and might not make its planned 2014 premiere. Today, Legendary Pictures officially filed suit against the producers Dan Lin and Roy Lee to remove them from the project after first trying to decrease their pay. Lin and Lee, in turn, are trying to halt production entirely, using their original contracts as ammunition. Let's hope this issue gets sorted out quickly, and that the above report has some validity to it, 'cause we'd love to see Ghidora or Mothra go up against the big guy.
