'Mozart in the Jungle' Wins Best TV Comedy at 2016 Golden Globes

Not even half an hour into the night, and already the 2016 Golden Globes has its winner for Best TV Series, Comedy or Musical, and it may surprise. Amazon’s Mozart in the Jungle pulled off a surprising upset, nabbing the award over some stiff competition.

The Amazon musician series faced major competitors the likes of sibling Transparent, who took home the award last year, Netflix’s Orange is the New Black, Hulu’s Casual, HBO’s Veep and Silicon Valley. The cast and crew (among them producer Jason Schwartzman) took the stage to celebrate the win, honored to work on a show that celebrates musicians.
