The 7 Oddest ‘Gone Girl’ River of Secrets Posts

On Thursday, Fox launched a new website called The River of Secrets in which people are encouraged to submit personal information about his or her loved one all in an effort to help promote the movie ‘Gone Girl.’ Sites like this already exist, but there is something hypnotizing about watching a human being’s greatest fears and concerns (or a public relations staffer’s best guess as to what someone’s greatest fear or concern might be) floating upstream into Internet oblivion.

Admittedly, I watched these quotes float by for a much longer duration than any human being should reasonably do. But, while watching, there were some “secrets” that didn’t seem to fit in with the others. At least, I wasn’t expecting to see the band Korn mentioned. Anyway, here are the oddest River of Secret secrets I saw while goofing off on Friday afternoon. (I swear these are real.)
