Monday’s ‘Gotham’ installment formally introduced us to “The Scarecrow,” but much bigger pieces of Bat-lore may swing into next week’s “The Blind Fortune Teller.” Not only do the first photos and footage reveal the famous Flying Graysons in action, but so too might we catch a glimpse of that jokey rogue on everyone’s (red) lips.

The full set of photos from Monday’s ‘Gotham’ only briefly feature the mysterious man that everyone seems to believe is our future Joker (we’re admittedly less convinced), though the Flying Graysons certainly make an appearance as Jim takes Leslie Thompkins on a date to the circus. Meanwhile, TVGuide’s first clip of the hour sees the high-flying acrobats getting close to the wire, particularly when some angry clowns show up to cause trouble.

Well, not that angry clown. Yet, anyway. So reads FOX’s official description of Monday’s “The Blind Fortune Teller”:

LIFE IN GOTHAM BECOMES A THREE-RING CIRCUS ON AN ALL-NEW “GOTHAM” MONDAY, FEBRUARY 16, ON FOX

Gordon takes Dr. Leslie Thompkins (guest star Morena Baccarin) to the circus, but the day turns quickly when the circus comes under attack. Then, Falcone enlists Butch Gilzean to help Penguin with the night club, while Fish Mooney is otherwise occupied. Also, Bruce Wayne schedules a meeting with the Wayne Enterprises board in the all-new “The Blind Fortune Teller” episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, Feb. 16 (8:00-9:00 ET/PT) on FOX.

Guest Cast: Drew Powell as Butch Gilzean, Morena Baccarin as Dr. Leslie Thompkins, Carol Kane as Gertrude Kapelput, Anthony Carrigan as Victor Zsasz, Dashiell Eaves as Kelly, James Monroe Inglehart as Ringmaster, Robert Gorrie as John Grayson, Abbi Snee as Mary Lloyd, Cameron Monaghan as Jerome

Time will tell if ‘Gotham’ truly intends to introduce a young Joker, but who needs villains, when we have a “prenatal origin story” for Robin? The latest photos and clips of “The Blind Fortune Teller” can be found above and below, Bat-fans.
