Gran Turismo 6 Trailer: The Last Hoorah of Current-Gen Technology
The team at Polyphony Digital have been putting years of development into Gran Turismo 6, the newest installment of the racing simulator franchise. With the next generation of console gaming arriving in less than half a year, could Gran Turismo 6 be the last game to redline current-gen technology? Watch the E3 trailer and find out!
The new footage boasts of the lengths Polyphony Digital was willing to go in order to provide the quintessential racing experience. New physics and suspension engines were implemented into GT6 to make the weight-shifting of the car seem as realistic as possible, as were redesigned tire models (look at those rims!), adaptive tessellation, and a new aerodynamics system.
Players should assemble at the starting line sometime in Q4 2013 when Gran Turismo 6 will peel out exclusively for the PlayStation 3.
