Last week James Gunn kicked off production on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 by formally announcing new cast members including Kurt Russell and The Knick’s Chris Sullivan — but you didn’t think they were done adding to the lineup, did you? The latest addition to Marvel’s intergalactic superhero sequel is Tommy Flanagan, and while the roles of a few other newcomers are being kept under wraps, we already know who he’ll be playing.

Variety confirmed Heroic Hollywood’s scoop, revealing that the Sons of Anarchy star has joined the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, in which he’ll play one of the ravagers out to claim a bounty on Rocket Raccoon, which causes a bit of a problem among our heroes. Flanagan is also known for roles in films like Face/Off and Gladiator, and he recently had a recurring role on Revenge.

Flanagan joins returning cast members Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper and Michael Rooker in James Gunn’s upcoming sequel. Kurt Russell will play Peter Quill / Star-Lord’s father, with Pom Klementieff heavily rumored as Mantis, and Elizabeth Debicki and The Knick’s Chris Sullivan in mystery roles.

Thanos may be sitting this one out, but Karen Gillan’s Nebula is returning along with a new villain, rumored to be Ego, The Living Planet.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters on May 5, 2017.
