'Hawaii Five-0' is at it again. After earlier opting to make television history by re-making an episode from the original series, the tropical CBS procedural has announced that it will air an episode with three different endings, to be chosen by participating viewers via online vote. Find out the impetus behind the unique episode from the horse's mouth inside, and what endings 'Hawaii Five-0' fans can expect to choose from!

We've observed plenty of TV gimmicks over the years, and even participated in voting-based reality series like 'American Idol,' but we never expected to be able to manipulate scripted TV! The producers of 'Hawaii Five-0' have opted to let their viewers do just that, airing a choose-your-own-ending episode on the January 14 premiere.

The episode in question sees the Five-0 team investigating a professors murder by one of three suspects: the professor's boss, his teaching assistant and a student the professor busted for cheating. Viewers will then vote on CBS.com and Twitter (using the hashtags #theBoss, #theTA or #theStudent), and the ending that receives the most votes will be broadcast. A separate vote will be held for the West Coast broadcast, and all three endings will be available online afterward.

"I've always felt the most fun aspect of watching a mystery is trying to figure out whodunit," says executive producer Peter Lenkov. "Now the Hawaii Five-0 viewers will actually get the chance to tell us who they think committed the crime and we will listen. I love that our dedicated and attentive fans will actually play a part in resolving our story."

What do you think? Will you participate in the 'Hawaii Five-0' multiple choice episode, or let the rest of the audience decide?
