'Silicon Valley' Season 2 Trailer Has Trouble for Pied Piper

HBO hilariously (and profanely) reintroduced us to the world of Mike Judge tech comedy Silicon Valley by its first Season 2 teaser, though with April 12 fast approaching, Pied Piper finally has new footage to show. Who’s ready for the efficient prioritization of bros by the first official Silicon Valley Season 2 trailer?

A bit lighter on the profanity this time around, the latest look at Silicon Valley Season 2 (premiering Sunday, April 12 with Game of Thrones Season 5 and Veep Season 4) cements that success wont’ quite prove so easy as Richard’s tech conference upset in the Season 1 finale, now that Pied Piper needs new partners to compete at a professional level. That said, the nerdly bro-dynamic remains very much in effect, as Zach Woods puts it, “I’ve never felt like I was anyone’s bro before … I’m gonna go find some ‘hos’ to prioritize behind you.”

For those unfamiliar with some of the Best TV of 2014, HBO’s Silicon Valley stars Miller, Thomas Middleditch, Judd Apatow vet Martin Starr, Josh Brener, Amanda Crew, The Office star Zach Woods, The Daily Show vet Kumail Nanjiani, Matt Ross, Suzanne Cryer and Jimmy O. Yang. New guests for the season include Mad Men alum Ben Feldman, Arrested Development star Chris Diamantopoulos and Alice Wetterlund.
