Last week saw the particularly generous Showtime release of a full 'Homeland' season 3 trailer, and it seems the veil has fully been lifted on footage from the new season. The latest look into the acclaimed terrorism thriller's third year follows suit with its predecessor to lead with a bit of familiar footage, before moving into scenes of the new season to ask, "Who do you trust?"

Apart from the ever-prevalent confession tape of Brody's deeds, the latest 'Homeland' season 3 trailer shows off Carrie answering to superiors regarding Brody's involvement in the infamous bombing of season 2 finale episode "The Choice." We also get a look at Saul ready to defend Carrie as usual, but someone clearly wishes to throw her "under the bus" for the attack.

‘Homeland’ season 3 picks up during the aftermath of the horrific terror attack that decimated the US intelligence apparatus and prompted a global manhunt for the world’s most wanted terrorist, Nick Brody. As Carrie and Saul begin to pick up the pieces of their shattered professional and personal lives, they are swept up in the political and media firestorm surrounding the terror attack and the subsequent search for Brody’s whereabouts.

Along with the recent additions of ‘Iron Man‘ star Shaun Toub, Martin Donovan, Tracy Letts, Joanna Merlin, Nazanin Boniadi, Amy Morton, Lawrence Clayton, Sam Underwood, Gary Wilmes and ‘Game of Thrones‘ season 4 star Pedro Pascal, season 3 of ‘Homeland’ will see David Marciano (Virgil) and Diego Klattenhoff (Mike) stepping down as series regulars to take reduced roles, while Morena Baccarin will reprise her series regular role as Jessica Brody, in spite of her husband’s absence.
