‘Hours’ Trailer: Paul Walker’s Hurricane Katrina Drama

When you think of Paul Walker, you think of the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise — and more specifically the upcoming ‘Fast and Furious 6‘ — but he’s got another film, the Hurricane Katrina drama ‘Hours,’ that you should know about. And the first trailer has hit.

A different speed than Brian O’Connors, Walker portrays a newbie father and a grieving husband, trying to cope with both the death of his wife from birthing complications and his newborn daughter, who’s being kept alive by a ventilator. Add the disaster of Hurricane Katrina into the mix and you have a potentially tearjerking film about a father trying desperately to keep his defenseless child alive.

Directed by Eric Heisserer, ‘Hours’ also stars Genesis Rodriguez and Judd Lormand, and is pegged for a 2013 release. Check out the first trailer below and let us know what you think in the comments.
