Oscar-nominated actress Jennifer Lawrence is getting to be quite the genre-hopper. After tackling superhero movies with 'X-Men: First Class' and sci-fi with 'The Hunger Games,' the young star has now turned her attention to horror and now we have an official poster for her first horror film, 'House at the End of the Street'.

A horror thriller,'House' follows a newly divorced Sarah (Elisabeth Shue) and her daughter Elissa (Lawrence) move into a new home in a small, rural town to restart their lives.Of course, they stumble upon a sinister secret: years ago, a girl killed her parents in the house next door, disappearing and leaving her brother (Max Thieriot) as the only survivor. Naturally, Elissa strikes up a relationship with the reclusive young man, leading to a series of dangerous, mysterious events.

'House at the End of the Street' was actually filmed two years ago by director Mark Tonderai, whose previous credit is an obscure British thriller called 'Hush.' The release date of 'House' has also been bumped around a couple of times, with the original February arrival moved first to April and then to September 21st, where it now stands.

Clearly, Relativity has been looking for the best possible position for the film to cash in on Lawrence's newfound mainstream fame as the star of the blockbuster 'Hunger Games,' so we'll see if her name alone can carry what is looking like a pretty standard B-level horror quickie to box office success.

The poster is below, along with the trailer for good measure. Does this look like a must-see to you, or will it end up being that horror film that Lawrence leaves off her resume in the future?
