While few could argue that Netflix's unusual model of original content has proven successful in the wake of political thriller 'House of Cards,' soon to soar even higher with the release of 'Arrested Development' season 4, we can't help wondering how additional seasons will role out. The first 13 episodes of 'House of Cards' debuted all at once, with a second season already guaranteed, but when will 'House of Cards' season 2 begin filming?

Good news, 'House of Cards' fans, your binge-watch may not have been in vain. While those who enjoyed the series likely blew through all 13 episodes in the course of a weekend, the next 13 will arrive sooner then you think, as series star Constance Zimmer (Janine Skorsky) revealed over Twitter today that 'House of Cards' season 2 will begin filming in approximately two weeks.

Like the first season, filming will take place primarily in Maryland, while no official release date has been set for the new batch of episodes. It remains to be seen if the second season will keep to the unique model of releasing all episodes at once, or take an incremental approach as with traditional TV.

In the meantime we'll have Netflix's 'Hemlock Grove' and 'Arrested Development' season 4 to plow through, but what say you? Are you eager to see Francis Underwood take to the White House in season 2? Where would you like 'House of Cards' to go next?
