‘How I Met Your Mother’ “P.S. I Love You” Photos: James Van Der Beek Leads the Canadian Charge

While this past Mondays 'How I Met Your Mother' episode "Ring Up!" may have divided a few fans, longtime viewers will be rewarded with yet another Robin Sparkles reprisal for next Monday's all-new installment "P.S. I Love You." The episode will also bring with it a cavalcade of Canadian (or at least honorarily Canadian) guest stars, from James Van Der Beek to Alex Trebek, but how would you like a first look? See the Canadian stars come out of the woodwork for 'How I Met Your Mother' inside!

Even though we're more or less confirmed to get a ninth season of 'How I Met Your Mother' later this year, you didn't think series creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas would have plotted out the potentially final season without a return appearance from Robin Sparkles, did you? CBS has released the first photos from this Monday's "P.S. I Love You," giving a sneak peek of all the Canadian stars popping in to celebrate Robin Sparkles' Legacy.

As previously announced, ‘Growing Pains’ star Alan Thicke, ‘Late Show’ bandleader Paul Shaffer, ’90210′ hunk Jason Priestley, ‘Jeopardy’s Alex Trebek, K.D. Lang, Barenaked Ladies frontman Steven Page, Rush frontman Getty Lee and Canadian former hockey star Luc Robitaille will all appear as themselves, while ‘Dawson’s Creek’s James Van Der Beek’ will reprise his role as Robin’s old boyfriend Simon. Canadian actor Dave Thomas will portray music agent Chuck Gerusi, while ‘SNL‘ vet and Chris Elliot’s daughter Abby Elliot will appear as Ted’s new girlfriend Jeanette.
