‘How I Met Your Mother’ Preview: Will Barney Give Up “The Fortress?”

How I Met Your Mother Preview The Fortress
CBS

It’s been some time since ‘How I Met Your Mother‘ left us with a “Weekend at Barney’s,” but that all changes this Monday as the long-running CBS comedy premieres its game-changing episode “The Fortress” (previously “The Fortress of Barnitude”). In it, Barney moves a step forward in his relationship with Robin by agreeing to give up his long-standing bachelor pad, but will he find someone worthy enough to accept the apartment? Get a sneak peek of Monday’s ‘How I Met Your Mother’ with the latest clip!

Barney Stinson’s long era as a bachelor with a bitchin’ pad will come to an end on Monday night’s all-new ‘How I Met Your Mother’ episode “The Fortress,” in which the Barnacle is tasked with finding a worthy successor to his apartment when it comes time to find a new home with Robin. The latest clip from CBS shows that Ted could potentially take the apartment, but wouldn’t be too enthused with the prospect. For various hygienic reasons, naturally. From CBS’ official press release:

BARNEY IS RELUCTANT TO SELL HIS BACHELOR PAD, ON “HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER,” MONDAY, MARCH 18 – Kyle MacLachlan Returns as The Captain

“The Fortress” — After Robin asks Barney to sell his bachelor pad so they can build a home together, Barney is reluctant and drives away potential buyers. Meanwhile, Lily’s commitment to her job as The Captain’s art consultant strains her relationship with Marshall.

Should we expect Barney to find a creative solution for keeping his apartment? Will there be a place for a Stormtrooper statue at his new digs? Check out the latest preview from ‘How I Met Your Mother’s “The Fortress” below, and give us your predictions in the comments!
