Hugh Jackman + Christian Bale – Dead Ringers?

You’ve seen those new photos from ‘Les Miserables,’ right? Aside from Anne Hathaway having her own ‘V for Vendetta’ haircut moment while singing “I Dreamed a Dream” (you can watch the trailer for that), Hugh Jackman completely let himself go beard wise and became Christian Bale‘s long-lost twin.

One would think that some more-than-shaggy scruff wouldn’t make too drastic of a change. Combine that though with a pair of despairing eyes and the slightly maniac hair, and you’ve got ‘The Dark Knight Rises‘ star circa his ‘Terminator Salvation’ flip out. But hey, if the beard is what launched Bale into becoming the infamously popular Batman, here’s hoping it’ll have the same end result for Wolverine.
