One of the breakout stars of 'The Avengers' was Mark Ruffalo and his turn as the Hulk. He was the third actor to take on the role, but between the actor and Joss Whedon's writing and directing, the character finally clicked. After the release, many people mentioned wanting a new Hulk movie, but if that comes to pass it's going to be a long wait.

Marvel's Kevin Feige recently talked to MTV, and told them that they have no plans to make a Hulk movie until after 'The Avengers 2,' which isn't due until May 1, 2015. Here's the money quote: “Do I think Hulk can carry a movie and be as entertaining as he was in ‘Avengers’? I do believe that. I do believe he absolutely could. We certainly are not even going to attempt that until ‘Avengers 2.’ So there’s a lot of time to think about it.”

Feige also mentions that he thinks “‘Planet Hulk’ and ‘World War Hulk’ are cool stories, but taking stock in what a producer says could be the possible storyline for a film that is more than four years off seems a bit silly. Though audiences may want it, it's also possible that Hulk as a character works better as a supporting player than a lead, as audiences didn't go crazy for either previous version of the character. But that may have been because most audiences didn't like Ang Lee's version, and the sequel took the hit. Now that audiences love the big green guy, he could be as popular as Iron Man.
