While many actors would turn up their noses at a role in the upcoming 'Human Centipede 3,' Eric Roberts has decided to dive in face first. Ahem. The Oscar-nominated (!) actor is the latest to join director Tom Six's film, which promises to be even more gruesome than its predecessors. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing is between you and your personal gods.

As you may know, the 'Human Centipede' series started off as the story of a mad scientist who abducts people and sews them together in a horrifying manner to create the titular creature. The second film focused on a mentally challenged man who loves the first film and attempts to recreate it in the "real world." Seriously.

Despite his Oscar nomination (for 'Runaway Train' back in 1985), Roberts has spent the past decade or so taking each and every role that comes his way. Sure, he may have been a major villain in 'The Dark Knight,' but he was also the star of 'Sharktopus.' To give you an idea of how much he works and how little he turns down, Roberts is in 67 movies in 2013. His appearance in 'The Human Centipede 3' was inevitable. EW doesn't know who he'll be playing in the film, but they do confirm that he'll be joined by Tommy “Tiny” Lister, Robert LaSardo and porn star Bree Olson.

Although details are still under wraps, 'The Human Centipede 3' promises to cap off this infamous series with a bang. Six has promised a 500 person centipede and the return of previous stars Dieter Laser and Laurence R. Harvey. Like the past two films, it's hard to imagine this movie being legitimately good, but it's also the kind of project that just dares you to see it.
