Just when you think the cast for the upcoming sequel to 'The Hunger Games' can't get any bigger, someone else jumps on board. It looks like director Francis Lawrence has found his Chaff.

How do you know Chaff is a character from the world of 'The Hunger Games'? Because he has an odd name that makes non-fans giggle, that's how!

Anyway, E. Ross Mitchell will be highlighting Chaff's lines in his script for 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' (or he'll get an intern to do it, we don't know the guy). A minor character in the book, Chaff is the District 11 winner of the 45th Hunger Games, called back into action by the Capitol's "Quarter Quell," which finds winners from the past and present called back into the arena to fight for their lives once again. In the book, Chaff is a likable fellow and a buddy to Woody Harrelson's Haymitch who forms a fast bond with Katniss and Peeta despite the fact that they'll soon find themselves fighting to the death.

Mitchell is not a particularly famous face, but he is a definitely a familiar one, having played roles in 'One Tree Hill,' 'Battle Los Angels' and 'The Shield.' Like the many other Tribute roles, Chaff is likely be a small role, but hopefully Mitchell will make it a memorable one.

'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' is set to open on November 22, 2012. There still isn't a script, but that's never stopped anyone from making a movie. Ahem.
