'Interstellar' Photos: Get Intimate With the Cast

One of our most highly-anticipated films of what remains of this year is, of course, Christopher Nolan's 'Interstellar,' the sci-fi drama which promises to be just as touching as it is epic, if those trailers we've been seeing are any indication. Crying Matthew McConaughey gets us every time. And today we have some new photos from in front of and behind the scenes to help you get a little more intimate with the cast of the upcoming film.

These new photos come from The Lebanese Cinema Movie Guide and give us a few new official stills from the film, featuring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Mackenzie Foy (playing the younger version of Jessica Chastain's character), and John Lithgow. There are also some behind the scenes photos with Christopher Nolan getting up close and personal on the set.

'Interstellar' follows a group of explorers who take advantage of a newly-discovered wormhole, attempting to make a huge leap in space travel, in an effort to save our planet from environmental devastation. The film also stars Casey Affleck, Michael Caine, Wes Bentley, Topher Grace, David Oyelowo, Ellen Burstyn, and Matt Damon.
