You might not get to see Hulk and Iron Man reunite until 'The Avengers 2' but you can tide yourself over with a new adventure -- in animated form! Marvel Animation Studios is releasing its first feature film starring the big green guy and the snarky metal hero in a brand new story called 'Iron Man & Hulk: Heroes United' and we've got the first look!

The new pictures come courtesy of EW and show off Marvel Animation Studios' handiwork in their debut feature, 'Iron Man & Hulk: Heroes United.' The two Avengers are teaming up to fight a villain called Zzzax, an entity made entirely of energy who can absorb the minds of humans. Zzzax may not be a name many of you are familiar with, but longtime fans of the Hulk comics will know him as the result of a terrorist attack on a nuclear facility. When the villain was first introduced in 1973, the cover of the comic referred to him as "It!"

Comic book author and Marvel Studios' Executive VP of TV Jeph Loeb explains, "We see his origin in the movie. It’s what would happen if the entire Eastern seaboard [electrical grid] went out. The two heroes meet up, thinking of each other as to blame." And then, Loeb says, "Calamity ensues."

Robert Downey, Jr. and Mark Ruffalo won't be reprising their on-screen roles and the characters will instead be voiced by Adrian Pasdar ('Heroes') and Fred Tatasciore respectively. The film will hit home video on April 23, but these new photos will give you a little taste of what the super-studio has in store.
