‘It’s Always Sunny’ in Philadelphia’ Season 10 Trailer: The Gang Goes ‘Armageddon’
Granted 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia,' the Paddy's Pub gang might feel a little cooler this year as the long-running FX-FXX comedy debuts its tenth season in January 2015, as opposed to its usual fall airdate. Still red-hot however, is the first teaser trailer for season 10 of the well-aged comedy, which sends Mac, Charlie, Dee, Dennis and Frank into orbit, Michael Bay-style.
As with your average 'Always Sunny' promotional campaign, the inaugural teasers of the new season don't bother with any actual footage, but rather put the show's budgetary and stylistic flair to good use. Where last year poked fun at Swedish arthouse films, this year seems to take aim at 'Armageddon,' launching the five on a mission to the stars, cheered on by a plethora of extras and beloved series guest stars alike.
Elsewhere, we've heard of a variety of new stories to grace the long-running FX comedy's 10th season (don't worry, we're renewed through and 11th and 12th as well), from game show parodies, to mile-high beer drinking competitions, and even a cannibal killer plotline to rival the likes of NBC's 'Hannibal' or 'The Walking Dead.'
