British singer/songwriter turned actor Iwan Rheon has been cast in season three of 'Game of Thrones,' but who is he playing? According his talent agency, he is playing the role of "Boy," which seems hilariously nondescript for a performer who is far from a nobody. A combination of internet snooping and fan speculation has suggested that he has stepped into the shoes of one of the most important characters in George R.R. Martin's 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series: Ramsay Snow.

Ramsay was an important player last season despite us never seeing his face. The bastard son of Roose Bolton, Ramsay was tasked with re-taking Winterfell from Theon Greyjoy and his Ironborn men. As you may recall, the season ended with Theon captured and Winterfell mysteriously sacked and burnt. Exactly what went down remains a mystery for non-readers, but know that the casting of Bastard of Bolton promises that answers are coming very soon. It's a terrific part, a character who is unforgettable on the page, and we're excited to see him make the jump to television.

The frontman for the band The Convictions from 2003 to 2008, Rheon broke into acting with the British TV series 'Misfits' in 2009 (the series is available for streaming on Hulu). Getting cast in an important role on a show as popular as 'Game of Thrones' is a huge step forward for his career and will introduce him to a much larger audience. No pressure, huh?

'Game of Thrones' season three premieres on April 7, 2013.
