It was just the other day that 'Jack the Giant Slayer,' Bryan Singer's updated story of 'Jack and the Beanstalk,' unveiled its latest poster with an up-close view (perhaps too close) of one of those butt-ugly giants. Now we've got four more of his buddies, each with its own unique poster, and in true movie marketing style, it seems as though they're counting down to something.

The latest marketing ploy for movie preview debuts has been the epic countdown -- if you'll remember, 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 2' released shards of the poster to rev up for the midnight debut of the full version, while 'The Great Gatsby' used a slew of character posters to prep for the big trailer reveal. But is 'Jack the Giant Slayer' the latest to join in this trend?

Every half-hour or so, the movie has released a different movie poster via its official Facebook page, each displaying one part of the iconically over-used catch phrase of the giants: "Fee, Fye, Foe, Fumm..." Perhaps, we'll be seeing if there's a special prize at the end of this long promotional tunnel.

'Jack the Giant Slayer' hits theaters March 1 and stars Nicholas Hoult, Ewan McGregor and Ian McShane. Hoult portrays the lead storybook character who unintentionally opens up a gateway to the world of giants by means of magic beans. You can check out the four new movie posters for the flick below, and be sure to keep an eye out for any other goodies that may or may not come our way.
