If you’re a Jennifer Lawrence fan, lately you pretty much had to settle for one of three types of movies: Hunger Games, X-Men or David O. Russell films. That’s all well and good (and has led to two Oscar wins), but with the Hunger Games franchise over and X-Men winding down, we’re also excited to start seeing Lawrence spread her wings. To wit: the actress is set to star alongside Javier Bardem in Darren Aronofsky’s upcoming thriller.

According to Variety, the still untitled project is based on a script that Aronofsky also wrote and follows “a couple whose relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence.” Lawrence would play one-half of the relationship and Bardem would play one-half of the uninvited guests. Given the presence of Aronofsky, Bardem and the cryptic logline, we’ll say there’s a lot more to this movie than meets the eye.

Aronofsky had not yet decided on his next project and was juggling a few options (including an Evil Knievel biopic with Channing Tatum), but when Lawrence agreed to star in this film, he committed to the project. The film is currently set up at Paramount with a spring shoot planned.

In addition to Aronofsky’s film, Lawrence also co-wrote her first comedy movie with new best friend Amy Schumer. That script has recently been completed but doesn’t yet have a deal to start filming.
