‘Jessica Jones’ Leaps Tall Buildings in a Single Bound With Latest Teaser
We’ve seen Marvel’s Jessica Jones smash her alarm clock and bust up Hell’s Kitchen nightlife, but Netflix’s new superheroine is finally ready to show her face. Jessica Jones puts her powers to use for Alias Investigations in the newest teaser from Marvel’s November series!
As with the prior Jessica Jones teasers, Marvel doesn’t seem to want to showcase full footage just yet (perhaps a certain New York Comic-Con panel?), though we at least see Krysten Ritter’s face this time, as well as her limited ability to super-jump rather than outright fly. Besides, was homegirl really going to walk up five flights to the offices of Alias Investigations?
So reads Marvel’s official Jessica Jones synopsis:
After a tragic ending to her short-lived super hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in New York City.
Premiering all 13 episodes on November 20, Marvel’s Jessica Jones features Krysten Ritter in the title role, along with Mike Colter as Luke Cage, David Tennant as Zebediah Kilgrave, Rachael Taylor as Patsy “Hellcat” Walker, and Carrie-Ann Moss as the mysterious “Harper”. Run creatively by Melissa Rosenberg, the series also features in recurring roles Eka Darville as Jessica’s neighbor, Erin Moriarty as a client, and Wil Traval as a police officer, while Rosario Dawson has been confirmed to reprise her role as Claire Temple.
Marvel’s Jessica Jones will also make its presence known at New York Comic-Con, but take in the latest photos and teasers below, and stay tuned for more from the November 20 premiere!
