Month after month, even after its first teaser and premiere date, we’ve looked up at Marvel and Netflix to shout “Jessica Jones photos!” And they’ve looked down and whispered “no.” At long last, our national nightmare has abated, with physical evidence that the cast of Marvel’s Jessica Jones … looks like the cast of Marvel’s Jessica Jones. But in photos!

Netflix finally released our first (official) photos of its upcoming Jessica Jones series, despite set shots showing off most all of its characters in recent months anyway. There’s Kristen Ritter in the title role, Mike Colter bartending as Luke Cage, David Tennant rocking some purple as Zebediah Kilgrave, and hey, Rachael Taylor as Patsy “Hellcat” Walker, and even Carrie-Ann Moss as the mysterious “Harper”! Oh, how we’ve waited for this anticlimactic day.

So reads Marvel’s official Jessica Jones synopsis:

After a tragic ending to her short-lived super hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in New York City.

Run creatively by Melissa Rosenberg, the series also features in recurring roles Eka Darville as Jessica’s neighbor, Erin Moriarty as a client, and Wil Traval as a police officer, while Rosario Dawson has been confirmed to reprise her role as Claire Temple.

Marvel’s Jessica Jones will also make its presence known at New York Comic-Con, but enjoy those glorious photos at long last, and stay tuned for more from the November 20 premiere!
