Joss Whedon has turned into a mega star in the film world thanks to 'The Avengers,' but what can a famed director do now? Star in a really adorable children's short story, that's what.

Today we present to you Super Smash, a unique short story turned into a cutesy little film. The one thing that makes it stand out is that this is told by five-year-old Brett Baligad. Well, that and the fact that people like Joss Whedon and Dave Foley show up in the short as a couple of the lead actors. They go head-to-head against a giant, red one-eyed monster who's trying to destroy the town for some unknown reason. The animation and practically everything about this is adorable. We can't stop smiling over it. We also love that most everyone squats for no discernible reason.

Joss Whedon has been good at pulling our heartstrings within the past couple of weeks. This is great, and just last week he had us in tears over his appreciation for fans of 'Firefly' at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. Now we're wondering what he'll do next. Probably something magnificent, that's what we're guessing.
