First 'Dancing with the Stars,' then 'Footloose' and then 'Rock of Ages.' Julianne Hough is not slacking when it comes to snagging time on the big screen. Aside from getting cast opposite Josh Duhamel in 'Safe Haven,' she was cast in the lead role for Diablo Cody's directorial debut and still yet-to-be-named project -- and it looks like she'll be spending even more time with her.

Variety reports that Hough has won a spot in another one of Cody's film projects titled 'Time and a Half,' though directorial duties go to Ol Parker this time around.

Not many details have been released just yet, but we do know that the 'Rock of Ages' bombshell will be portraying a recent college grad trying to make some money with a temp gig at a trophy store. It's there she runs into her sister's high school boyfriend, with whom she previously had a one-night stand. Presumably awkwardness will ensue. Michael London and Andrew Lazar will be producing this movie for Groundswell and Mad Chance productions, but the next big step to move this along is to find the actress who'll play Hough's onscreen sis.

What we're a bit more interested in, though, is to see Cody taking over the director's chair for once. We loved her script work for 'Juno' and (to some extent) 'Jennifer's Body,' and dug her work on 'United States of Tara,' so we have faith she'll kick some ass when she takes on 'Time and a Half.'

But what do you think? Are you psyched for this new Diablo Cody project? And what about Julianne Hough? You want to see more of her, or do you think she should stick to the musicals? Let us know in the comments below.
