'Maleficent' has picked up yet another name to add to its already sparkling cast list. Juno Temple has signed on to play a fairy in Disney's re-imagining of the classic 'Sleeping Beauty' tale.

According to THR, Temple will be one of three fairies tasked with caring for Princess Aurora (Elle Fanning) in the spin on the classic fairy tale, which will be told from the witch Maleficent's point of view.

Angelina Jolie will play Maleficent, an evil witch who, in the original tale, curses Aurora to sleep until true love's kiss wakens her. Maleficent is more than just your average witch, though -- the evil one has the power to transform into a huge, fire-breathing dragon.

Sharlto Copley ('District 9') has also signed on to play Stefan, a half-fairy, half-human bastard.

Temple's character is named -- wait for it -- "Thistletwit," and is joined by pixie companions "Knotgrass" and "Flittle."  Imelda Staunton and Lesley Manville accompany Temple as three fairies who must care for Aurora in a cottage in the woods.

The film is shaping up to be quite the spectacle, with famed special effects artist Rick Baker providing his special brand of visuals for the film.
