‘Jurassic World’ Limited Edition Blu-ray Set Revealed, Includes a Big Spoiler

Jurassic World just opened to a record-breaking $209 million opening weekend, but Universal Pictures doesn’t want you forgetting how much you (seemingly) loved the movie. Just five days after it hit theaters, they’ve already announced a Limited Edition Gift Set that includes a 3D Blu-ray, standard Blu-ray, DVD, Digital HD and a collectible bust that’s...actually kinda of a spoiler.

Announced by Universal, the gift set will set you back a $119, but if you order it now from Amazon you can save yourself a whopping $12! What has yet to be confirmed is the release date and the special features that will be included (but you can expect the usual fare: commentaries, deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes featurettes, et. al.).

The Limited Edition Gift Set comes with the fancy bust recreating the T-rex / Indominus battle from the end of the film. Which is great if you’ve seen the film, but if not, well they just spoiled you. Hey, at least they waited this long to tease that fight — most studios would have included that in the very first trailer.

But, before Jurassic World makes its way to DVD and Blu-ray, it still has a very big life ahead of itself in movie theaters. It’s only been in theaters for five days and it’s already the third biggest movie of the year. It will very likely be the #1 movie again this weekend and it’s successful run should continue for many more weeks. So, if you want to see Jurassic World again, you don’t have to wait until this Blu-ray set is released, you can just head back to the movie theater over and over again.
