It’s that time of the year—no, not just awards season, but the time when that other major annual event occurs: the Super Bowl. For some of you, the Academy Awards is your version of the Super Bowl. For some others, the Super Bowl is your version of, well, the Super Bowl. And today kicks off the first of many film-related Super Bowl announcements to come, we’re sure, as Universal has revealed that they’ll debut a new trailer for ‘Jurassic World’ during the big game.

Besides being famous for the actual football game and the halftime show, the Super Bowl is the place to snag some premium commercial airtime, since, like, every house and bar in America is tuned in for the big game. The commercials themselves have become their own attraction, guaranteeing that even if you aren’t a sports fan, you’ll find some entertainment value.

It’s also become a place for studios to debut new trailers for their major upcoming films, and while we’re sure to get even more updates in the weeks to come, the first announcement has arrived: Good Morning America has confirmed that we’ll see the next full ‘Jurassic World’ trailer during the Super Bowl. If you weren’t already planning on watching, that should give you a reason to at least DVR the game or something, right?

The first full trailer for ‘Jurassic World’ drew some criticisms as people complained about the abundance of CGI, while director Colin Trevorrow has maintained that there are still plenty of practical effects in the film to keep it faithful to the aesthetic of Steven Spielberg’s original. And although some people seemed to think Chris Pratt’s Owen riding a motorcycle with raptor pals flanking him on either side, helping him pursue the giant hybrid-dino seemed silly, we kind of can’t help but be pretty pumped about how awesomely crazy that concept is.

Hopefully we’ll get to see more of those promised practical effects and maybe even our old buddy T-Rex when the new ‘Jurassic World’ trailer debuts during the Super Bowl on February 1.

‘Jurassic World’ hits theaters on June 12, 2015.
