For as much as fans love FX's Timothy Olyphant gunslinger drama 'Justified,' they know that one thing the series excels at is writing villains. From Limehouse to Quarles to Mags Bennett, Boyd Crowder and back again, 'Justified' has long been a haven for the deliciously bad. So while we've seen a few castings and reports from 'Justified' season 4, what new menaces might Raylan Givens face? According to a new bit of gossip, Raylan may head into uncharted territory to come face to face with a villain the likes of which he's never encountered...hill people!

Redneck jokes aside, fans of FX's 'Justified' well know that the series does...well, justice to the Kentucky landscape in which it sets its scenes. A unique brand of Kentucky people, however, have yet to be explored, one that Zap2It claims Raylan Givens will go toe to toe with in 'Justified' season 4! Are you ready to meet the hill people, and their savage leader Cope Entiss? From Zap2It:

In Season 4, we'll head up into the mountains of Kentucky to meet the hill people, a dangerous backwoods group of ruffians who aren't all there, if you know what we're saying. The leader of the group, Cope Entiss, tends to capture and kill any outsiders who trespass into their territory. Turns out, though, that one of the hill people, Mary, recognizes Raylan... and may be related to him.

Hmm. Why doesn't Raylan Givens having backwoods relation or two surprise us in the least? Elsewhere, season 4 of ‘Justified’ will feature Ron Eldard as a military police sergeant with ties to Boyd Crowder, as well as comedian Patton Oswalt as a constable and old friend of Raylan Givens. Yet to be cast are the roles of a fugitive family man who teams up with a pair of drug addicts, and a charismatic young preacher who starts cutting into Boyd’s profits. David Meunier will reprise his role as Johnny Crowder for 10 episodes, and Natalie Zea will be back as Winona for at least three.

It's possible that the "charismatic young preacher" and Cope Entiss are one and the same, with a little snake-handling thrown in for good measure, but what do you think? Before 'Justified' season 4 hits in early 2013, give us your predictions in the comments!
