FX had a bit of good news today as freshman border drama 'The Bridge' was officially announced to return for season 2 in 2014, though personally, we're more excited to revisit our friend in the hat, Raylan Givens of 'Justified'! Raylan won't return until some time in 2014, but you don't have to wait that long to find out what he and Boyd Crowder get up to when 'Justified' season 5 debuts "A Murder of Crowes" next year!

Picking up an undetermined amount of time after season 4 finale "Ghosts," we've learned from FX that the 2014 premiere of the gunslinger drama "A Murder of Crowes" will begin as "Raylan travels to Florida to deal with the Crowe family; Boyd goes to Detroit in search of a missing shipment of drugs." That certainly fits with what we'd heard previously about the gator-farming Crowe family, run primarily by “sexy, charismatic and ruthless” fortyish patriarch Dale, and public-facing sister Wendy.

Elsewhere, we know of ‘Justified’ season 5 that the action will pick up with Boyd also desperate to get Ava out of prison, putting revenge on Lee Paxton (‘LOST‘s’ Sam Anderson), Sheriff Mooney and Johnny Crowder (David Meunier) on the back burner. Raylan will have both his potential promotion and the long-awaited birth of his daughter to worry about, while showrunner Graham Yost previously expressed a desire to craft a new means of driving the character action beside the big bad and mystery approaches already used in recent seasons.

We're still waiting on casting news of 'Justified' season 5, but what say you? Are you eager to resume the tales of Raylan Givens and Boyd Crowder, even if once again their paths seem separated by several states? What do you want to see when 'Justified' season 5 premieres in 2014?
