Because the Kardashian family doesn't have enough attention or money, they've just re-upped with E! for another three years -- which kind of makes us hope those Mayan predictions about the world ending in 2012 were right after all.

The new deal will garner the family $40 million, the richest deal ever in reality TV, and ensures 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' will drone on until at least 2015. Provided we don't all meet a merciful fate before then, of course.

The arrangement also extends to the E! network's first-look deal with the family for new reality ventures, one of which we assume will surely highlight Kim's conveniently-timed new relationship with hip-hop star Kanye West.

Sources tell TMZ that Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kris and the related-by-marriage Bruce Jenner will split most of $40 million windfall evenly, with the younger generation -- Kendall, Kylie and Rob -- each getting a smaller share.

We kind of thought the Kardashian clan (no, we won't spell it with a K and you can't make us) peaked with Kim's made-for-TV marriage and divorce, but apparently a whole lot of people still care about the antics of the brood. The show is a solid ratings powerhouse for E!, with the 6th season averaging 3 million viewers.

The 7th season of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' premieres May 20.
