‘Kick-Ass 2′ Trailer From the UK Shows Why Being Normal Is Not an Option

The new 'Kick-Ass 2' trailer, coming at us from across the pond, is here with more new kick-ass footage of our title character, Hit-Girl and their buddies like Colonel Stars and Stripes. For these heroes, living out a normal life is just not in the hands they were dealt.

While the first 'Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall' trailer was mind-blowingly awesome with all its superheroic ass-kicking sequences, cussing and Christopher Minz-Plasse as The Motherf-----, this new preview, coming courtesy of MSN Movies UK, adds a little bit more to the story.

Chloe Moretz's Hit-Girl is starting a new life at a new school, but it's proving to be a lonely and uneventful life, especially for a girl who stops villains by hitting them in the nuts by night. But that's where Aaron Johnson's Kick-Ass steps in to prove that heroes don't have to go it alone.

'Kick-Ass 2' hits theaters August 16, 2013, and you can watch the new trailer in full below. But just as an added bonus for all of you, Universal released a brand-new 'Kick-Ass 2' poster featuring the lovable Jim Carrey as Colonel Stars and Stripes. We don't really know why he was left out of the first batch of posters being he's a major reason why people want to see this flick, but c'est la vie.
