We finally have a look at the first 'Kill Your Darlings' trailer, now months after the film's premiere at Sundance and ahead of its upcoming screening at TIFF 2013.

Daniel Radcliffe portrays Allen Ginsberg, one of the iconic writers credited with kick-starting the “Beat Movement.” Starting with his years at Columbia University, he, along with Jack Kerouac (Josh Hunt), William S. Burroughs (Ben Foster) and the boyishly handsome Lucien Carr (Dane DeHaan), helped define the generation.

'Kill Your Darlings' is director John Krokidas’ freshman feature film effort and depicts the meeting of Ginsberg and Carr at school. Carr lures Ginsberg into a rule-less bohemian world, which takes a tragic turn when David Kammerer (‘Dexter’ himself, Michael C. Hall), a 30-year-old professor infatuated with Carr, is murdered.

Elizabeth Olsen, David Cross and Jennifer Jason Leigh are also featured in ‘Kill Your Darlings,’ which will hit theaters this October 18 with a limited release on October 16.
