Killer is Dead Trailer: Mondo Action

A new English trailer for Killer is Dead has arrived, though it makes about as much sense as all the Japanese videos thus far.

In the footage above we get to see protagonist Mondo cut loose on some enemies with both his blade and his robotic gun arm. The context isn't really clear, but that's not surprising considering the game's creator Suda51 isn't exactly known for simplified plots. Seriously, this trailer is about as vague as the next episode teasers for Mad Men.

That said, the action does look pretty smooth. There's no telling just how much control we'll have over Mondo's blade, but there are definitely some sweet combos being unleashed in the trailer. Killer is Dead is due out this August, so hopefully we'll learn more about how the game plays between now and then.
