We're a little over a week away from the release of 'Killing Them Softly,' and it's killing us that we can't see this movie yet. The latest trailer has dropped and it's got plenty of James Gandolfini and gun violence to go around.

While this newest trailer for 'Killing Them Softly' (courtesy of IGN) doesn't feature much that we haven't already seen in trailers and TV promos, it does go heavy on the James Gandolfini action, and we really appreciate that. There's also that great shot of the guy getting hit by the burning car -- some delightfully brutal stuff right there. We're starting to get a better idea of the tone of the film, which seems to be (very) darkly comical and violent.

The film stars Brad Pitt as Jackie Cogan, a mob enforcer who's called upon to check out the heist of a mobster's poker game. 'Killing Them Softly' is based on the acclaimed novel 'Cogan's Trade' by George V. Higgins, and was adapted and directed by Andrew Dominik ('The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford').

The movie co-stars James Gandolfini, Richard Jenkins, Scoot McNairy, and Ray Liotta, and you can check it out when it hits theaters next weekend, on November 30.
